The Dog-e-Tag digital dog tag is just like it sounds, a digital dog tag for you pet. It’s intended to be used just like a regular dog tag, except that you can put a lot more information on this tag. It allows up to 40 lines of text, and at 10 displaying characters per line, you can enter up to 400 characters. This is not exactly volumes I guess, but it is quite a bit more than a normal metal dog tag.
This information you put on your dogs tag can things like your phone number, address, email, vet and any special instructions. The data is easily scrollable and shows up whenever anyone pushes any of the two buttons.
The digital dog tag is shock resistant and water proof, so your dog can do all the normal things it would do without worrying about damaging it.
To enter the data you must use the two buttons and enter one letter at a time, and when changing batteries if you cannot get the new battery in within 30 seconds, you are going to be entering that data again. The digital Dog-e-tag comes in multiple colors and in multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Aside from the slow data entry process this is a good solution to provide detailed information about your pet should you get lost and your pet can’t find you.
